H1Z1 is coming to the PlayStation 4 as a free-to-play game next month!
This is the battle royale game for fans of action console shooters. Battle royale should be about the adrenaline rush you get from being one of the last few remaining, so we’ve drilled down to that core gameplay experience to keep players engaged in all the action. This means more guns, more vehicles, more weapons, a streamlined UI, familiar console controls and faster matches—it’s pure battle royale.
Plus, we’ve added a new take on in-match power progression that forces players to make strategic decisions if they want to win.

No campaign in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. That’s the current word on the street.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will lack a “traditional single-player story mode,” but will possibly feature Battle Royale, according to two separate reports.
Sources speaking with Polygon have said Black Ops 4’s lack of a single-player campaign came down to time constraints.
“As Black Ops 4’s release date approached, it became evident that development on the single-player campaign wouldn’t be completed,” reads the report on Polygon. “One source said Treyarch has since focused Black Ops 4’s development on expanding multiplayer and the series’ popular Zombies mode.
“The source described an emphasis on cooperative modes potential stand-in as a potential stand-in for the typical single-player campaign experience.”

The next Assassin’s Creed game is reportedly well into development, and it’ll be taking the series to Greece for the first time.
According to a new report, ancient Greece is going to be the setting of the next Assassin’s Creed game, due for release in 2019 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
Why Greece? Well, the report indicates that last year’s Assassin’s Creed Origins was initially planned to also include Greece, but Ubisoft later decided to give it its own game.
The information comes by way of Liam Robertson, who is mostly known for his work on Unseen64 uncovering cancelled and lost games. Writing for Comicbook.com, Robertson cites multiple sources “linked to Ubisoft.”
Assassin’s Creed 2019 is said to have been in full production since early 2017, and is shooting for a fall 2019 release. We don’t yet know what it’s going to be called, or even its internal codename (Origins’ codename was Empire).

A “top-secret” studio is working on the next BioShock game, and it’s currently being developed under the codename Parkside.
The fact a new BioShock game is currently in development should come as a shock to absolutely no one.
According to a Kotaku report, former employees of Mafia 3 studio Hangar 13 have joined a top-secret studio to work on the next BioShock, which goes by the codename Parkside.
After a round of layoffs at Hangar 13 back in February, many employees moved on or joined the team working on Parkside. The remaining team members of Hangar 13 were kept in the dark on what the project entailed, until word slipped out it was a new BioShock title.
“If anyone from Hangar 13 tried to strike up a conversation with them, they’d say, ‘Oh, we can’t really talk about it,’” a source close to the studio told Kotaku. “It was all very tight-lipped.”

Bungie has confirmed that the next Destiny 2 expansion is called Warmind, and it’ll be released May 8.
Alongside Warmind’s release date, Bungie revealed several changes coming to Destiny 2 in seasons three and four in a development roadmap update.
Warmind is perhaps the expansion announced with the least fanfare. Outside of the May 8 release date, Bungie didn’t divulge any other details, though the studio promised to reveal more a livestream scheduled for Tuesday, April 24.
Interestingly, all Crucible maps coming with Warmind will be available to all players. This also applies to maps that launched with Curse of Osiris. However, you will need to own the maps before you can host or join a private match with your buddies.
All of this kicks off on May 8, which is the start of the game’s season three. As you can see in the updated roadmap below, season three will bring other requested features like an increase to the vault space, the ability to equip multiple emotes, and other changes
